PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type vehicular air conditioner for securing a heating capacity and quick heating performance by minimizing a heat resistant temperature of an air-conditioning unit constituent member. SOLUTION: This heat pump type vehicular air conditioner has a driving device cooling system 40 having a coolant heat exchanger 42 for exchanging heat with introduced air. The driving device cooling system 40 is provided with a heating medium bypass pipe 45 having an opening/closing valve 46 for allowing a coolant to flow by bypassing a first heating medium/refrigerant heat exchanger 41.
