HEAD DRUM ASSEMBLY OF MAGNETIC RECORDING/REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A head drum assembly of a magnetic recording/reproducing device is provided to directly connect a coil with a magnetic head, thereby reducing cost and the number of assembling processes as improving product quality since signal transmission characteristics are advanced. CONSTITUTION: A rotative drum(20) is rotatively installed on a shaft(10). A magnetic head(30) is installed in a lower part of the rotative drum(20). A rotary trans portion(40) is installed in an upper part of the rotative drum(20). A rotor core(21) is supported on a bottom of the rotative drum(20). The rotor core(21) is faced with a stator coil(51) supported to a fixed drum(50) that is fixed on the shaft(10). The rotative drum(20) rotates at high speed by a driving of the rotor core(21) and the stator coil(41). The magnetic head(30) rotates at high speed with the rotative drum(20), and records/reproduces information by scanning a running magnetic tape.
