APPARATUS FOR PREVIOUSLY CUTTING STOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the problem of emergence of viruses in a seedling for a stock caused by chips remaining on a seedling tray from being produced. SOLUTION: The apparatus for previously cutting the stock has a tray-supporting part for supporting the seedling tray storing the seedlings for the stocks in a tilted state, a guide part arranged so as to be parallel to the seedling tray supported in the tilted state by the tray-supporting part, and a cutting part for previously cutting the upper part of a stalk of the seedling for the stock while moving along the guide part. As a result, the upper part of the stalk of the seedling for the stock can be cut while moving the cutting part along the guide part in a state in which the seedling tray is supported in the tilted state by the tray-supporting part.
