PURPOSE: An array substrate for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to form a dummy pixel at the outline portion's non-display region of the array substrate so that the dummy pixel is always driven into black, thereby preventing the backlight phenomenon generated from a subpixel within a display region adjacent to the non-display region. CONSTITUTION: A subpixel(P) arranged as a matrix shape within a display region(20) is partially overlapped with a TFT(Thin Film Transistor), a pixel electrode(17) and a gate line on which the pixel electrode(17) is positioned, thereby forming a storage capacitor(16). Dummy pixels formed at the non-display region(21) are formed at the positions adjacent to the last outside plural subpixels(P). The dummy subpixel(50) is electrically connected to the pixel electrode(17) within the dummy pixel(50) and a gate line(13') positioned on an upper portion of the pixel electrode(17).
