<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side trimmer device for excellently holding a shape of a metallic belt end surface after trimming even in a metallic belt in which shape failure such as a warp, intermediate extension and a lug wave exists by exceeding a specific limit. <P>SOLUTION: This side trimmer device of the metallic belt 1 has a shape detecting device 4 and a divided guide roller 5 on the upstream side of a side trimmer body 2. The shape detecting device 4 can detect a width directional curve shape of the metallic belt 1. The divided guide roller 5 is divided in the width direction of the metallic belt 1. A partial or the whole rollers of the respective divided guide rollers respectively move in the metallic belt surface vertical direction. The divided guide roller 5 corrects a shape of the metallic belt 1 according to a shape detecting result of the metallic belt 1 in the shape detecting device 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
