SPLASH COVER FOR MAIN IRON THROUGH OF BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE: A splash cover for main iron through of blast furnace is provided which prevents sporadical explosion phenomena generated by moisture remaining in the splash cover to be replaced. CONSTITUTION: The splash cover for main iron through of blast furnace comprises a plurality of moisture inflow covers(110) installed on an upper part of the splash cover to collect moisture in the splash cover; a moisture discharge pipe(120) connected to an upper part of the moisture inflow covers; and a cap for moisture detection(130) comprising a depression part(131) formed on an upper part of the cap to collect moisture generated from the splash cover, and a plurality of vent holes(132) formed on a lower part of the cap to discharge the moisture to the outside as the moisture collected into the depression part is being evaporated, wherein the cap is connected to an upper part of the moisture discharge pipe to detect moisture remaining in the splash cover, wherein the moisture inflow covers are protruded upward to guide vaporized moisture to the moisture discharge pipe from the inside of the splash cover, and wherein the cap for moisture detection is formed of a transparent glass to easily detect moisture remaining in the splash cover.
