摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid transmission with high degree of freedom for design in a change gear ratio variation width. <P>SOLUTION: A differential arrangement of five elements two degrees of freedom is composed of a set of double pinion planetary gears 2, 3 sharing a pinion P1. A motor/generator MG1 (outer rotor 4ro), an input (In) from an engine 5, an output (Out) to a wheel driving system, a forward brake F/B to be locked in starting, and a motor/generator MG2 (inner rotor 4n) are connected in order of rotating speeds of a sun gear Ss, a ring gear Rs, a carrier C, a ring gear Rd and a sun gear Sd. Further an overdrive brake OD/B locked in overdrive traveling is further connected to the sun gear Ss. In the set of double pinion planetary gears 2, 3, a pitch circle diameter of the pinion is changed without affecting the gear change ratio, and the pitch circular diameter of the sun gears Ss, Sd can be freely changed by changing the pitch circle diameter of the pinion to increase a degree of freedom in designing with respect to a gear shift width of the transmission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
