PURPOSE: A disk cartridge is provided to protect a recording surface of a disk-type recording medium from damage which may be produced when shutters and an inner rotor are pressed inward or when the disk-type recording medium is inclined toward the disk cartridge, and to protect the disk cartridge from dust penetrated through a gap. CONSTITUTION: Shutters(13,14) open and shut a bottom opening portion(17). The first disk mounts(51) are formed inside an end of the bottom opening portion(17), and wherein a circumference part of an approximate central portion of a disk-type recording medium is horizontally disposed thereon. The second disk mounts(52) are formed inside the shutters(13,14), and wherein other circumference part of the central portion of the disk-type recording medium is horizontally disposed thereon when the bottom opening portion(17) is shut by the shutters(13,14).
