<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thread-wound hollow golf ball having superior carry performance when being driven with a driver and superior controllability in an approach shot, and providing a player with a favorable driving feeling. <P>SOLUTION: This thread-wound hollow golf ball is formed of a hollow center 6 comprising a hollow part 1 and a hollow center outer layer part 2; a rubber thread layer 3 formed by winding around a rubber thread; and a cover 7 comprising an inner layer cover 4 and an outer layer cover 6. This thread-wound hollow golf ball is characterized in that the hollow part 1 has a diameter of 3-20 mm, the hollow center 6 has a diameter of 30-38 mm, the inner layer cover 4 is formed of thermoplastic resin, and the outer layer cover 5 is formed of polyurethane-based thermoplastic elastomer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
