PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow guard implement preventing a rusting phenomenon caused by structural defects while improving a method of manufacturing a snow guard fitting so as not to cause the rusting phenomenon at the joint face of each connection component by improving the structure and manufacturing method of the snow guard fitting mounted to a constructed galvanized iron roof. SOLUTION: In this snow guard implement for the roof, the tip parts 2' of right and left clamping plate parts integrally bent upward at the bottom side part rear side near the center part of a slat 1, faces the tip part 4' of a base part 4 integrally bent to the bottom side part rear side of an upright plate 3 mounted to the front side face part of the slat. The tip parts of the clamping plate parts are bent upward, and the tip part of the base part is bent upward. A projecting piece part 9 bent upward is provided at the bottom side part front side of the upright plate, and horizontally bent support plate parts 10 are provided at the both right and left side front parts of the slat. In the manufacturing method, the whole slat and the whole upright plate are respectively dipped in a dissolved zinc plating solution, and both plates are mounted and assembled.
