PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a robust foam molded product having no molding defect with a simple mold structure by surely discharging a gas in a cavity. SOLUTION: This closed injection method comprises injecting a foaming material 21 into the cavity 19 by connecting an injection head 15 to an injection port 7a in a closed state of a mold 1, separating the head 15 from the port 7a at such a stage that foaming of the material 21 is almost finished to discharge a gas in the cavity 19, and then reconnecting the head 15 and the port 7a.
