PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter excellent in chemical resistance, heat resistance, and hydrophilicity. SOLUTION: The filter comprises core-shell type composite fibers in which a polyamide synthesized from a dicarboxylic acid component containing terephthalic acid as a main component and a diamine component containing 1,9-nonane diamine and 2-methyl-1,8-octane diamine as main components is made a shell component, and polyethylene terephthalate is made a core component.
