The transistor (Q) control input (B) is connected to the open-collector output of a comparator (K), via a resistance (R5) with the supply voltage (Ucc) and via a capacitor (C1) to earth (GND). The non-inverting comparator input (K+) is connected to a potential divider (R1, R2) across which the control voltage (Uin) is applied. The inverting comparator input (K-) is connected to the tapping of a further potential divider (R3, R4) between the supply (Ucc) and the transistor output (O), i.e. its emitter, and is also connected via a resistor (R6) with the transistor input (I), i.e. its collector electrode. The transistor output is connected via a resistance (R7) to earth.
