PURPOSE: A device for driving a hatch in a smoke pipe is provided to instantaneously open/close the hatch by having a mechanical structure. CONSTITUTION: A device for driving a hatch in a smoke pipe is composed of a housing(100) having upper and lower plates(110,120), a fixed shaft(80) fixed to the upper and lower plates, a pair of driving shafts(20) passing through the upper plate and connected to hatches by a hinge unit, a driving plate(40), and hydraulic buffers(50) coupled to the lower plate and connected to the bottom of the driving shafts. A coil spring(10) is wound around the fixed shaft. The driving plate moves up/down according to the opening/closing of the hatch.
