The arrangement has a base body (4) and a direction changing body (16) for the belt (1) mounted on the base body to be pivotable against the force of a spring and that can be pressed against a locking body (7) by spring force to hold the belt against the base body. The belt guide is designed so that a strain force applied to the belt acts on the direction changing body so as to a support the spring force.
