<p>The rescue device can be used in tourism, in particular for rescuing people in an avalanche. It comprises an elastic bag (2) with a mouthpiece (6), fitted in folded state on the breast of the person by means of straps (4 and 5), protection coating (1), compressed air cylinders (3), sound alarm device (7) and emergency transmitter (8). When a person possessing the rescue device falls under an emergency situation - covered by an avalanche he/she can open the compressed air cylinders, as a result of which the elastic bag is blown, protecting the front part of the body and face from the direct effect of the snow mass. In addition, the mouthpiece, found opposite his/her mouth can be used for breathing part of the air found in the elastic bag. The sound alarm device (7) and the emergency transmitter (8) are envisaged for signalling the location where the person is found. 3 claims, 3 figures</p> |
