FIELD: psychotherapy and narcology. ^ SUBSTANCE: using rational psychotherapy method, one raises patient's motivation for treatment and convinces patient in possibility of his(her) convalescence. One forms then negative conditioned reflex for alcohol and/or tobacco smoking and positive setting to abstinent mode of life, after which one mechanically irritates biologically active Sheng-ting point and transfers patient into meditation state and, against this background, one accomplishes verbal suggestive action with intention to cause refusal to utilize alcohol and/or tobacco smoking. Pressing then Bay-huey point, one produces suggestion formula. After that, one demonstrates to patient powdered placebo and suggests that this powder possesses healing properties, reduces temptation for alcohol and/or tobacco smoking. Powder is introduced orally, while one simultaneously presses Ya-meng point and repeats suggestion formula. Treatment course comprises four sessions, third session involving use of 1-2 ml of distilled water as placebo, which is administered subcutaneously in Sing-shu point in combination with verbal conviction to possess "information energy charge" capable of suppressing temptation for alcohol and/or tobacco. ^ EFFECT: expanded alcoholism and tobacco smoking treatment possibilities. ^ 4 cl, 4 ex |
