PURPOSE: A GPRS support node and an operating method thereof are provided to easily extend GSN processing capacity without additional development. CONSTITUTION: Multiple IP/GTP-U processors(21) are allocated session information, process received GTP-U data, and outputs it. A session management unit(22) manages the session information and GTP-U data-related information. When an arbitrary IP/GTP-U processor has an error, the session management unit(22) reallocates the session information which has been allocated to the corresponding IP/GTP-U processor to a normal IP/GTP-U processor, so that the GTP-U data can be processed. A switch(23) physically connects the IP/GTP-U processors(21) and the IP/GTP-U processors(21) and the session management unit(22). |
