PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for papermaking with which the yield of papermaking raw materials such as pulp, a filler and microfibers and freeness can stably be improved without being influenced by an anionic substance, a suspended colloidal substance, etc. SOLUTION: The method for papermaking can be achieved by adding a synthetic nonionic water-soluble polymer into paper stock in the papermaking raw materials before papermaking and carrying out papermaking.
