PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture projection method which makes reflect values of all data on projection axis to a projection picture made from three-dimensional data. SOLUTION: By this method, when the number of three-dimensional data on projection axis is set to n, data value is set to Vi, and the real number larger than 1 is set r, the pixel value G at an intersecting point is referred as G=¾(<SB>i=1</SB>Σ<SP>n</SP>Vi/n)<SP>r</SP>-<SB>i=1</SB>Σ<SP>n</SP>(Vi/n)<SP>r</SP>¾<SP>1/r</SP>; the data value not only the maximum intensity on the projection axis but also the other data value can be reflected in the projection picture, and information whether the data having maximum intensity on the projection axis exists only one point or a plurality of points can be also reflected in the projection picture.
