PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic latent image developing toner excellent in cleanability and capable of obtaining a good image. SOLUTION: The electrostatic latent image developing toner consists of colored particles and an external additive comprising fine silica particles having a volume average particle diameter of 5-20 nm and silica coated metal oxide particles having a core-shell structure in which a core layer comprises a metal oxide selected from the group consisting of titanium dioxide, aluminum oxide and zinc oxide, and a shell layer comprises silica.
