摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding method for efficiently and highly accurately working an inner/outer peripheral surface of a carburized and quenched ring-shaped article. SOLUTION: The outer peripheral surface Wo and the inner peripheral surface Wr of the carburized and quenched ring-shaped article to be a workpiece are simultaneously ground, while imparting rotation to the outer peripheral surface Wo in a supported state of the outer peripheral surface Wo, and thereby cutting of the outer peripheral surface Wo is finished, while gradually releasing residual stress of the ring-shaped article W, and subsequently cutting of the inner peripheral surface Wr is continued by prescribed quantity. The highly accurate working is efficiently performed without affecting grinding accuracy of the inner peripheral surface Wr and generating thickness deviation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
