PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a medicinal composition containing a new phenylcarboxamide derivative having excellent activities for inhibiting the secretion of an apolipoprotein B (ApoB) and for reducing serum lipid, and useful as a medicine as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This medicinal composition contains the phenylcarboxamide derivative represented by formula [I] [wherein, ring A is a nitrogen-containing aliphatic heterocyclic group which may be substituted; Y is =CH- or =N-; R<SP>2</SP>is a group represented by formula [II] (wherein, (m) is an integer of 0-3; R<SP>6</SP>is an organic group), or the like; and R<SP>3</SP>is hydrogen atom or a halogen atom] or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient.
