The operating method has an automatic start-stop control for the IC engine of the hybrid drive disconnected in defined operating situations, with re-starting by the driver using the starter-generator between the IC engine and the drive transmission. The starter-generator is operated with a reduced power over a timed interval before re-starting of the engine after stopping via the start-stop control, during which the position of the clutch between the starter-generator and the drive transmission is checked, to prevent attempted re-starting with the clutch closed. |
