<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for printing documents on a networked application server at a printer controlled by a local client. <P>SOLUTION: A local client 36 transmits a printing executable request to a networked application server 30 (80), and then a printing proxy (38) executable at the local client 36 is transmitted to the local client (82) so as to be executed including acquisition of printing processing parameters. Subsequently, a printing specification command including the printing processing parameters is transferred to the application server 30 (84), and the application server 30 provides a document, which is constituted of printer-dependent data streams adjusted with the printing processing parameters of the printing specification command.
