PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble an automatic transmission oil filter with ease. SOLUTION: In the automatic transmission oil filter 13 in which a hole 17 leading to a dust side is made in a filter material 15 and the rim of the hole 17 is connected to an oil inflow port 19 in a case 14 by use of a connector 22, the connector comprises a cylindrical part 22a inserted from inside the case into the passage 19a of the oil inflow port and a pressing part 22b fitted on one side of the cylindrical part. The rim of the hole in the filter material is sandwiched and pressed between the pressing part 22b and the case, by the engagement of snap engagement means 23a, 23b on the cylindrical part with the case. The engagement of the cylindrical part with the case by the snap engagement means allows the rim of the hole to be pressed and sealed between the pressing part and the case. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
