<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a mechanism of easily performing a jamming processing in order to solve such a failure that it is very difficult to remove a jammed recording sheet when the recording sheet is jammed between a recording sheet storing means arranged on the upstream side in the recording sheet conveying direction and the conveying guide, as to the image forming apparatus wherein the recording sheet storing means are arranged in parallel under a reconveying path for reconveying the recording sheet to an image forming part so as to transfer images on both sides of the sheet after forming and transferring an image on one side of the sheet and reversing the image-transferred side of the recording sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The conveying guide for guiding the recording sheet fed from the recording sheet storing means arranged on the upstream side in the recording sheet conveying means and making the recording sheet join to the conveying path of the recording sheet fed from the recording sheet storing means arranged on the downstream side in the recording sheet conveying direction is arranged under the reconveying path, and the conveying guide and the recording sheet storing means arranged on the upstream side of the recording sheet conveying direction can be pulled out together in a right angle direction to the recording sheet conveying direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
