PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and structure for controlling harmful exhaust gas such as NOx, CO, or PM to be less in amount. SOLUTION: A plurality of stages of inclined air slit rings are arranged on a circumference for phase-flow-mixing with combustion air and forming a high-velocity swirl, a straight oil feed pipe is arranged at the center thereof. A two-fluid nozzle 12 having the function of feeding high pressure combustion air from its outer periphery and generating a high velocity swirl stream is provided, and a combustion air duct 16 located in the tangent direction of a window box 1 for high velocity swirl and mixture of the combustion air and atomized oil particles is fixed thereto. Furthermore, a ceramics or heat resistant metal inner cylindrical gasification cone 9 and an outer cylindrical combustion air swirl feed cone 10 surrounding the cone 9 are provided to a flame outlet for accelerating gasification and combustion. For non-stage turndown, inverter control is applied to electric ball valves 5, 7 and a secondary air fan 3 to enable slow movement. Type 14 of ignition is adopted, and change-over between pilot fuel gas 8 and light oil 4 or a simultaneous hybrid operation is also adopted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
