Polynucleotide (I), directed against a gene (II) that encodes a catalytic subunit (X) of human telomerase, interacts with the mRNA of (X) in at least two target sequence regions, i.e. 2176-2250 and 2296-2392 of the sequence AF015950. An Independent claim is also included for a kit or array that comprises (I) and/or a pharmaceutical composition comprising (I) in a carrier.
