PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door lock and its thumb-turn device capable of preventing a thumb-turn spindle of the thumb-turn device from turning in the unlocking direction by an illegal unlocking means making use of a wire, a string or the like. SOLUTION: The thumb-turn device 10 includes the thumb-turn spindle 12 connecting the front end 12a thereof to a hub 4, a seat 20 for bearing the thumb-turn spindle 12 in a rotatable manner and a tab 30 for rotating the thumb-turn spindle 12 provided to the base end of the thumb-turn spindle 12. A touchable tooth 34 is provided to the tab 30, and the seat 20 is fixed to the indoor side of a door 70. When the tab 30 is tilted to the thumb-turn spindle 12, a plurality of rotation preventing teeth 22 capable of being engaged with the touchable tooth 34 of the tab 30 are provided to the seat 20.
