摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A slag coating method is provided which reduces generation of converter waste by patterning nitrogen injection coating so that converter slag is utilized to the maximum, and extends life cycle of the furnace body by adhering slag to the wall of the converter. CONSTITUTION: The slag coating method a step of predicting quantity of slag (S) in converter(1) using subsidiary raw materials injected during blowing operation after scrap and hot metal are sequentially charged into the converter and quantity of residual slag remained during previous charging; a step of predicting the total Fe in slag using dissolved oxygen measured after completing blowing operation, continuously performing the succeeding process if the predicted total Fe in slag is 15% or less, and weighing coke to be added if the predicted total Fe in slag is 15% or more; a step of separately weighing MgO to be added during weighing of coating agent if the predicted MgO in slag is 8% or less and starting tapping if the predicted MgO in slag is 8% or more by predicting MgO in slag using dissolved oxygen; a step of erecting the converter after completing tapping, and performing nitrogen injection coating by tilting the converter after additionally injecting weighed coke into the converter if the predicted value during the total Fe predicting process is 15% or more of the total Fe in slag and injecting shortage of coke also into the converter during the MgO predicting process when injecting coating agent into the converter; and a step of discharging the slag after performing nitrogen injection coating.</p>
