PURPOSE: A record power setting method in an optical disc drive is provided to reduce an error of a record power varied according as optical ray is reflected on an optical disc. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. The first drive voltage of an optical source is measured while a focus servo operation is performed on an optical disc. After the optical disc is drawn out, the second drive voltage of the optical source is measured. An error is calculated by comparing the first drive voltage with the second drive voltage. A record power is set by considering the calculated error. |
