The corner fitting has a square shape and comprises two perpendicular webs (22,23) each comprising complementary coupling means (28,29) able to engage returns edging the mouth of a T-shaped groove made in the rabbet of the woodwork. The complementary coupling means of at least one of the webs are defined, on each of the web lateral sides, by two distinct coupling edges located at different distances relative to the web upper external face enabling the engagement and clipping in he groove in a direction perpendicular to the groove.
