PURPOSE: Provided is a knife needle for weaving a pile fabric which prevents the loop from being biased in any one direction to produce loops with a predetermined length, and minimizes the abrasion rate of the knife blade portion to enhance the durability. CONSTITUTION: The knife needle for weaving a pile fabric comprises a hook(12), and a blade portion(14a) placed under the hook with a predetermined inclination. A preliminary-cutting vertical blade portion(14b) is extended from the top of the inclined blade portion. The vertical blade portion is formed at the entire non-curved portion(d1) of the hook, and the inclined blade portion has a minimal width(h2) corresponding to the curved portion of the hook. |
