PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling the fuel injection of a diesel vehicle are provided to improve the starting performance through fuel quantity control applied with the first-stage emission limit map. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling the fuel injection of a diesel vehicle comprises a vehicle speed detecting unit(10) detecting the present vehicle speed based on the change of a transfer driven gear, a clutch detecting unit(20) detecting the motion displacement of a clutch pedal, an accelerator pedal detecting unit(30) detecting the motion displacement of an accelerator pedal, an engine rpm detecting unit(40) detecting the present engine rpm by detecting the rpm of a crank shaft or a camshaft, a control unit(50) determining the fuel injection amount for first-stage starting by applying the first-stage emission limit map, and an injector(60) injecting the determined amount of fuel to a corresponding cylinder.
