METHOD FOR PREVIOUSLY ANALYZING SUBSCRIBER CHARACTERISTICS THROUGH COLLECTIVE SUBSCRIBER STATISTICS OF ADSL EMS

PURPOSE: A method for previously analyzing subscriber characteristics through collective subscriber statistics of an ADSL EMS(Element Management System) is provided to easily analyze subscribers by collectively analyzing subscriber information and periodically obtaining data. CONSTITUTION: Data is automatically collected by using an SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) from an NE(Network Element) to an EMS(S301). It is checked whether a modem has an error according to the collected data(S302). If there is a change in the modem such as connection or disconnection(S303), the EMS is informed the changed particulars by using a message called an event(S304). The EMS makes received subscriber characteristics information a database and registers it in an EMS DB(S305). Input kinds are variously classified and analyzed by using the registered database(S306). The EMS selects input items according to required items and obtains an output suitable for selected input conditions in performing statistics on pertinent facilities by using the information collected from the NE(S307). A corresponding file is transmitted to an NMS(Network Management System)(S308).
