PURPOSE: An oil drain system of an upper looper device on an overlock sewing machine is characterized by preventing lubricant oil from staining yarn or textile and installing an oil supply and exhaust system miniaturized a trochoid pump. CONSTITUTION: An oil drain system of an upper looper device on an overlock sewing machine comprises: an upper looper bed(4) fixed on a frame(2); a cylindrical guide(7) of an upper looper holder installed on the upper looper bed(4) and rotated; the upper looper holder(12) passed through the guide(7) in a diametric direction to be capable of sliding, connected to an upper looper shaft(15) with a link system, interlocked with the upper looper shaft(15), inclined-moved by guidance of the guide(7) and elevated; an upper looper(14) set on the upper looper holder(12) protruded from the guide(7) of the upper looper holder(12); oil drain holes(27,28) opened and formed on a hole edge of an upper end of a through hole perforated by the upper looper holder(12); and a pump connected with the oil drain holes(27,28) and interlocked with a main shaft of the sewing machine to be driven.
