A molded article made of a cycloolefin polymer resin, a mixture of a cycloolefin polymer resin with a polyolefin-based thermoplastic elastomer resin or a mixture of a cycloolefin polymer resin with EVA which is to be used in constructing denture bases, artificial teeth, partial denture holders and mouse pieces. A method of molding the molded article comprises: the step of supporting a gypsum model and a molded article made of a cycloolefin polymer resin, which are placed on a table, in a chamber apart from each other; the step of softening the molded article by heating; the step of evacuating air from the chamber by sucking; the step of lifting the above-described table in vacuo to thereby coat the model with the molded article and blocking the space between the molded article and the table from the outer space; and the step of supplying air into the chamber while keeping the space in vacuo and press-molding the molded article sheet into the model under elevated pressure.
