<p>The present invention relates to a plastics cap (1) comprising a skirt (2) which extends cylindrically about an axis (X-X) of the cap, a top (3), a connecting region (4), between the skirt and the top, having a first inner portion (10) for joining to the top, a second inner portion (11) for joining to the skirt and an intermediate inner portion (12) between the first portion and the second portion, and a safety ring (5), characterized in that it comprises an annular lip (17) placed in a position such that it interferes with the surface of the outer wall (23) of the edge (21) of the mouth of a container when the cap is screwed onto the container, the annular lip (17) being completely contained within the intermediate portion (12) of the connecting region (4).</p> |
