<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device capable of obtaining the sufficient assist force without impairing the response and generating the self-excited oscillation when the steering assist is performed by driving an electric motor and rotating a pump. <P>SOLUTION: In this power steering device wherein the steering assist is performed by driving the electric motor and rotating the pump, a state quantity detecting means is mounted for detecting the state quantity between the downstream in a torque transmitting passage with respect to an current value detected from the motor and the upstream in the torque transmitting passage with respect to a steering angle of the power steering device, and an assist steering control means is a means having a first assist steering command value operating part for operating a first assist steering command value on the basis of the detected steering torque, and a second assist steering command value operating part for operating a second assist steering command value on the basis of the detected state quantity, and outputting a value as a result of the addition of the operated first assist steering command value and second assist steering command value as an assist steering command value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
