PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the clogging of a vent hole by tearing the rubber burr of a green tire by a flap vent piece for opening and closing the vent hole formed to a mold for molding a tire. SOLUTION: The flap vent piece 11 opens and closes the vent hole formed to the mold for molding the tire to vent air. This flap vent piece 11 comprises a thin metal sheet material and is formed by bending the thin sheet material and superposing the bent parts one upon another on the back side of the thin sheet material.
