PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens driving device and an imaging device capable of avoiding what is called out of focus, that is, the divergence of focus on an object caused by the change in the position of an ND by calculating focus correction amount by which a focus position based on the moving amount of a focus lens is corrected and controlled in accordance with the position of the ND, thereby controlling the position of the focus lens in accordance with the position of the ND. SOLUTION: The imaging device is equipped with a focus lens driving means to positionally move the focus lens to be focused on the object, a focus position detection means to detect a zoom position based on the moving amount of the focus lens moved by the focus lens driving means, an ND position detection means to detect the position of the ND for adjusting the quantity of light from the object, a focus correction amount calculation means to calculate the focus correction amount by which the focus position from the focus position detection means is corrected and controlled in accordance with the the position of the ND from the ND position detection means, an image pickup means to receive the light from the object through the focus lens and convert it into an image signal, and a signal processing means to process a pixel signal fed from the image pickup means and output a video signal.
