Methods of screening SK ion channels, particularly SK1 and medicaments for the treatment of a urinogenital, respiratory, cardiovascular, neuronal disorder, of sleeping disorders, sickle cell anemia, pain, inflammation and bowel disease (IBD) are also disclosed.
