TEMPERATURE PREDICTION METHOD AND TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION METHOD FOR OSCILLATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature prediction method and a temperature compensation method for oscillator which predict a temperature after a prescribed time with high precision on the basis of a result of temperature measurement in order to obtain higher frequency stability of a temperature compensation type oscillator than that of prior arts. SOLUTION: The temperature compensation type oscillator takes temperature changes caused by measurement intervals as speeds on the basis of the temperatures measured at prescribed intervals by a temperature sensor 105, a temperature prediction section 104 predicts a temperature after a time ofΔt through a dynamic temperature prediction calculation taking into account differential terms of the speeds up to n-th order, and the temperature of the oscillator is compensated by the predicted temperature.
