<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal golf club head and a golf club provided with the head effectively reducible in the partial deformation of a head body part caused by thermal effect in laser welding. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club is provided with the metal golf club head, a shaft and a grip. The golf club head 1 is provided with a crown part 6 jointed to a crown part 3 to close a crown opening part 8 provided at the crown part 3; a face part 9 jointed to a face part 2 by laser welding to close a face opening part 7 provided at the face part 2; a sole part 4; and a side part 5. The shortest distance from a top edge to the crown opening part 8 between the crown part 3 and the face part 2 is set to 10-40mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
