PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an apparatus for recovering a solvent of a high boiling point which is excellent in cost aspect including an equipment cost, can recover the solvent in a short time, is excellent in recovery performance and recovery efficiency, is excellent in equipment cost, or the like, from this aspect since downstream recovery is done, and does dewatering while being excellent in safety aspect, cost aspect, and stability. SOLUTION: This recovery apparatus 1 liquefies and recovers the high boiling point solvent A from an exhaust gas B containing the vaporized solvent A. The apparatus 1 has a water-cooling heat exchanger 2 installed in an exhaust duct 5 for the exhaust gas B, a water supply part 4 for supplying cooling water C to the heat exchanger 2, and a recovery part 3 for recovering the solvent A condensed in the heat exchanger 2. The heat exchanger 2 is formed in a honeycomb shape. In the heat exchanger 2, cells 9 in which the cooling water C flows and cells 9 through which the exhaust gas B passes are arranged to cross each other in turn. By the heat exchange between the cooling water C and the exhaust gas B, the solvent A in the exhaust gas B is condensed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
