<p>PURPOSE: An oil cooler of a CVVT(Continuously Variable Valve Timing) system is provided to cool oil in a fast operating area by switching a supply passage toward an engine coolant chamber with the oil pressure of engine oil from an oil pump to a CVVT unit. CONSTITUTION: An oil cooling pipe(155) is formed near a coolant chamber(143) in a combustion chamber(141) of a cylinder head. The oil cooling pipe is connected with an oil supply pipe(151) through a connecting pipe(153). The oil supply pipe connects an oil pump(121) with an oil control valve filter(123). A passage switching device(160) is formed on the oil supply passage. The passage switching device switches the passage of oil according to the oil pressure from the oil pump by connecting with the oil cooling pipe through a bypass pipe(159). Thereby, the cooling operation of oil in a fast operating area is performed.</p> |
