PURPOSE: A locking device for a gate is provided to perform stably a locking operation and an unlocking operation by rotating a rotary unit as much as 360 degrees to one direction within the locking device. CONSTITUTION: An installation hole(121) is formed at a center of an inside of an installation box(1) having a rod guide hole(11). A couple of elastic balls(122) are formed at a cylinder-loading unit(12). A cylinder(2) having a combination unit(21) is inserted into the installation hole. A rotary unit having a driving projection(31), a couple of position installation holes, and a combination hole is combined with the combination unit of the cylinder. A driving connection unit(4) having a rod combination groove(41) and a projection induction groove(42) is installed in front of the rotary unit. A couple of control rods(5) having connection grooves are combined with the driving connection unit.
