METHOD FOR RECORDING/PLAYING LINKED AREA DATA OF BD-ROM AND BD-ROM FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for recording/playing the linked area data of a BD-ROM(Blu-ray Disc ROM) and the BD-ROM for the same are provided to efficiently record/play various information to the BD-ROM while maximally keeping the compatibility with a BD-RE(BD-Rewritable). CONSTITUTION: The recording frames having a predetermined recording size are recorded to a specified recording section matched with a learn-in and a learn-out area of the BD-RE from a data recording area of the BD-ROM. A frame sync having an intrinsic bit sync ID is included/recorded in the recording frames. A 6-bit sync ID different from the 6-bit sync ID of the frame sync that is included/recorded in a physical cluster among the data recording is included/recorded in the frame syncs as the 6-bit sync ID.
