PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating water granulated blast furnace slag by which the capacity of an anti-solidifying agent can effectively be exhibited, and the solidification of water granulated blast furnace slag can be prevented at high efficiency. SOLUTION: After the production of water granulated blast furnace slag, the ratio of a water content in the water granulated blast furnace slag is controlled to≤7%, and thereafter, an anti-solidifying agent is added to the water granulated blast furnace slag. At this time, the water granulated blast furnace slag is temporarily placed for≥24 hr after its production, and is dewatered, so that the ratio of the water content in the water granulated blast furnace slag can easily be controlled to≤7%.
